Pauline J. Ayres
Pauline J. Ayres, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 18, 1927, in Kahoka, Mo. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired escrow office for a title company.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie Jeanne Ayres-Smith of Las Vegas; two sons, Clifford Ayres of Fallbrook, Calif., and Charles Ayres of Lakewood, Calif.; two sisters, Wanda Mielus of Nebraska and Ann Williams of Tennessee; one brother, Leroy Vice of Iowa; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Nancy Perna Barker
Nancy Perna Barker, 73, of Las Vegas and Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born March 24, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio. A longtime resident, she was a secretary for Verizon Communication.
She is survived by her husband, Albert L.
No local services scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Paul Newton Bittick
Paul Newton Bittick, 48, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1953, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for 27 years, he was a convention worker, a member of Teamsters Local 631 and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one daughter, Seana Pruett of Sugar Hill, Ga.; three stepsons, Aaron Zylo, Erik Ponder and Douglas Ponder, his mother, Edna Bittick, and one sister, Mary Galano, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Esther Brooks
Esther Brooks, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 11, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired cosmetic saleswoman.
She is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Terry Barnes, and one son, Paul Brooks, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in California. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Renee Suzette Carrasco
Renee Suzette Carrasco, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 20, 1945, in Durant, Okla. A resident for 40 years, she was a nurse's aid at a convalescent home.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert of Ely; one son, Conrad Gonzales, and one daughter, Yetta-Kaye Alfaro, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Agnes G. Frazar
Agnes G. Frazar, 93, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 17, 1907, in South Dakota. A resident for 16 years, she was a bookkeeper for Bexar County Sheriff's Department in South Dakota.
She is survived by one son, Bryan Frazar of Salsbee, Texas; two daughters, Margaret Foster and Sonya Pettyjohn, both of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled 3 p.m. today in the LDS Valley Verde and Guilford Ward. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Margaret E. Gordon
Margaret E. Gordon, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 18, 1914, in Valisca, Iowa. A resident for 51 years, she was a retired restaurant owner.
She is survived by three nieces, Doris Martin of Acton, Calif., Betty Flanders of Hamilton, Iowa, and Barbara Tokheim of Des Moines, Iowa; and her caretaker, Sandra Clinton of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Frank Kalt
Frank Kalt, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 5, 1921, in Upland, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he was an entrepreneur, Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Marine Corp League of Las Vegas and the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.
He is survived by his wife, Marja; two daughters, Anne-Marie Arnold of Annandale, Va., and Cathy L. Barrett of Chapel Hill, N.C.; one son, Stanley R. Kalt of Morgan Hill, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Private services are being handled by Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson.

Marna Banerian Liston
Marna Banerian Liston, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1923, in Milwaukee. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired supervisor for an employment company, a volunteer for the Republican Party and the 1965 winner of the Mrs. Nevada Make it with Wool contest.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Liston of Las Vegas; one son, Gregory Liston of Carson City; one sister, Vera Melton of Prairieville, La.; three brothers, Gordon Banerian of Milwaukee, George Banerian of La Mesa, Calif., and Marty Banerian of Mukwonago, Wis.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Carmen "Tony" Marra Sr., 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 23, 1931, in Massachusetts. A resident for 29 years, he was a golf attendant and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; one daughter, Debra Ploeg, and three sons, Carmen Marra Jr., James Marra and Paul Marra, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Donald Marra of Weymouth, Mass.; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Patti Ann Miles
Patti Ann Miles, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 24, 1951, in Oakland, Calif. She was a 21 dealer at the Stardust for 15 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Arika A. Miles of Las Vegas; her father, Orval M. Brackey of Vista, Calif.; her stepmother, Jeanne Brackey of Aptos, Calif.

Lavenia Morris
Lavenia Morris, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born March 16, 1924, in Enid, Okla. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired singer/dancer in the entertainment industry, a member of the Variety Club and active in the Arts Enrichment programs.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Lester of Coosbay, Ore., and Anthony Marino of Las Vegas; one brother, Sonny Morris of Las Vegas; one sister, Lois Demoran of San Diego; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Elizabeth Mundy
Elizabeth Mundy, 19, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 10, 1981, Las Vegas. She was a receptionist for a tanning salon company.
She is survived by her mother, Ramona Johnson, her father, Richard Mundy, one brother, Cody Mundy, her grandparents, Richard and Jacqueline Munday, and her Great grandmother, Minnie Johnson, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Kumiko 'Cookie' Payton
Kumiko "Cookie" Payton, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Kyoto, Japan. A resident for five years, she was a retired seamstress, Marine Corps veteran and a member of SGIUSA.
She is survived by three sons, Johnie Payton, Leroy Payton and Michael Payton, all of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Roy Petty Jr.
Roy Petty Jr., 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 6, 1925, in Eureka, Texas. A resident for 30 years, he was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by three sons, David W. Petty, Daniel E. Petty and Doug Petty, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Hershal Petty of Las Cruses, N.M., and Bill Petty of Cleburne, Texas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1:30 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Philip Quartararo Sr.
Philip Quartararo Sr., 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1922, in New York City. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired garment business owner and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Yvonne Kerr of Simi Valley, Calif.; two sons, Philip Quartararo Jr., of Simi Valley and Larry Quartararo of North Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, Sal Quartararo of New York, and Larry Quartararo of New York City; two sisters, Marie Culosi of Demhurst, N.J., and Grace Toscano of Connecticut; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Sheila Ann Elaine Reed
Sheila Ann Elaine Reed, 28, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 4, 1972, in Las Vegas. A resident for seven years, she was a customer service representative for Discover Card Services.
She is survived by her father, Craig Reed of Colorado; her mother and stepfather, Karen and James Abell, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Brandee Reed of Phoenix.

Raymond 'Dave' Reigle Jr.
Raymond "Dave" Reigle Jr., 47, of Las Vegas died March 30 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1954, in Lebanon, Pa. He was a bartender for Double Diamond Bar.
He is survived by his fiancee, Doris Maher; one son, David Paul Reigle; his father and stepmother, Raymond D. and Patricia Reigle, both of Lebanon; and two sisters, Christine Kalinoski of Labanon and Bridget Nottage of Fredericksburg, Pa.

Cornelius D. Romero
Cornelius D. Romero, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 31, 1909, in Tucson, Ariz. A resident for 80 years, he was a retired machinist for a civil service company and a member of the Vegas Valley Masonic Lodge 32.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rayola; three sons, Neil Romero of Reno and Gary Romero and Jim Romero, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Frances Bustos of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Paulette Marie Seminara, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born March 13, 1943, in Providence, R.I. A resident for three years, she was an office manager for a real estate company.
She is survived by her husband, George M.; one son, Eric A. Seminara of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Rowley; and two brothers, Jeramiah "Bubba" Donovan and John Donovan.

Virginia F. Thompson, 53, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 16, 1947, in Fairmont, W.Va. A resident for 20 years, she was a casino cashier.
She is survived by her husband, Henry; one daughter, Mindy Beerly of Las Vegas; three sisters, Diana Smith of Birmingham, Ala., Cynthia Wensler of St. Louis and Victoria St. John of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Ismael A. Viloria, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1928, in the Philippines. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired manager for a shipping company.
He is survived by his wife, Rizalina V.; two sons, Vrondo V. Viloria and Venerando V. Viloria, both of the Philippines; five daughters, Vivian V. Ehrman of Bloomfield, Mich., and Victoria V. Jarina, Vinia V. Dinio, Annabelle V. Viloria and Vismin Sue V. Titus, all of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Ashley Marleen Williams, 18, of Las Vegas died Friday in California. She was born May 15, 1982, in Las Vegas. She was a student at Westmont College and an employee at Bank of America.
She is survived by her father, Richard Williams, her mother and stepfather, Maureen and Mickey Johansson, one sister, Meagan Williams, and stepbrother, Sean Johansson, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Verda Jarmon Williams, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 22, 1954, in San Antonio. She was a nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Williams and Gary Andrew Williams, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Ruth Jarmon of Texas; and two brothers, Joseph Jarmon of Texas and Charles Jarmon of Korea.
A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 G St. Burial will be in Texas. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
