Nice Systems, an Israeli-based corporation that develops digital video recording systems for the gambling and entertainment industry, has opened a Las Vegas office at the Howard Hughes Corporate Center.
The company's NiceVision, a high-definition security camera system, has been used in correctional centers, corporate office buildings and hospitals.
The company, which has no local casino clients yet, said it hopes to offer another product, NiceVision Pro, to Las Vegas-area casinos. Eli Gorovici, vice president of global sales, said this system is optimized for preventing theft and fraud.
Nice's Las Vegas office at 3930 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite 260, employs a staff of three, Gorovici said.
