Clark 6, Gateway (Colo.) 5: Edward Dorville drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning to lift the Chargers over their Denver-area opponent. Fernando Moreno homered and went 2-for-4, while Danny Rock went 2-for-3 for the victors.
SOFTBALL
Silverado 2, Centennial 1, 12 inn.: Morgan Miller struck out 11 batters in 12 innings, and Emily Moores drove home Megan McPherson in the bottom of the 12th with a deep RBI single. Shannon Crisp homered and tripled for the Bulldogs.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Centennial def. Mojave, 15-0, 15-3, 15-8: The Bulldogs opened conference play with a road victory.
Durango def. Bishop Gorman, 15-13, 15-13, 15-4: Mason Duff dished out 38 assists and Tyson Walker and Brian Bounds had 16 kills apiece for the Trailblazers. Matt Brosseau had 10 kills and nine digs for the Gaels, who also got 25 assists from Kelly Petersen.
Bonanza def. Clark, 15-4, 15-10, 15-6: Chris Braman and Kevin Hawkins had 10 kills apiece to lead the Bengals.
Green Valley def. Foothill, 15-5, 15-11, 15-10: The Gators got 44 assists from Chuck Kallick and 19 kills from Eric Sheedy. Alex Fontilla put up 22 assists for the Falcons.
Chaparral def. Basic, 15-11, 15-4, 5-15, 16-14: David Gerrard pounded down 27 kills and Andy Wayerski racked up 65 assists for the Cowboys. Sindre Storvoll had 18 kills and Brian Payne added 14 kills and eight blocks for the victors.
