At the Palms Casino Hotel set to open in December, Frederick Flamm is director of property operations, Michael Scarselli is director of special projects, Mark Olson is director of human resources and George Noel is director of purchasing.
Howard Liszt, an advertising and marketing veteran from Minneapolis, and Ken Robson, a Virginia private investor, were appointed to the board of directors of Shuffle Master Inc.
Christer Roman is chief operating officer of the gaming systems business segment at Anchor Gaming.
Las Vegas attorney Jeffrey A. Silver joined the board of directors of Riviera Holdings Corp.
Dave Rebich is vice president of strategic planning, analysis and development for Ameristar Casinos.
Also at Ameristar, Dennis Hennebury is director of recruiting and Bradley Reynolds is manager of culinary operations.
Donald Stuckey is sales director of the Sahara hotel-casino.
Jay Roberts is vice president of human resources, Derk Boss is surveillance director and David Norcutt is surveillance operations manager for Carl Icahn's gaming properties in Las Vegas including the Stratosphere and two Arizona Charlie's hotel-casinos. Also, Mark Majetich is director of operations for Arizona Charlie's East.
Yvonne Lewis is director of community affairs at Mandalay Resort Group.
Rasoul Baghal is director, MegaJackpots Engineering Support and Chuck Taylor is director, MegaJackpots Logistics, at International Game Technology.
At Station Casinos Inc., William Sylvestre is director of finance for Santa Fe Station, Yale Rowe is director of marketing at the Reserve, Michael Clotfelter is Capri Ristorante room chef at Sunset Station and Scott Hager is casino manager at Boulder Station.
