Parents to receive annual school accountability reports
Monday, April 2, 2001 | 10:32 a.m.
The Clark County School District is beginning to distribute annual accountability reports, or school profiles, to parents of all students.
The profiles provide a summary of student performance and special programs at schools for 1999-2000. The annual reports are part of school accountability requirements under the Nevada Education Reform Act. They also are used to develop plans to improve student achievement.
Reports are being issued for most of the district's 250 schools, including 20 reports in Spanish. Schools with fewer than an average of eight students per grade are being compiled into a Rural Schools Report.
The districtwide report is being compiled and will be available April 15.
School profiles will be available on the Internet (www.ccsd.net) after mid-May.
