Paul P. Accetta
Paul P. Accetta, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born March 24, 1929, in Hoboken, N.J. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a retired commercial interior designer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carol D.; two daughters, Christine V. Accetta of Fort Lee, N.J., and Elizabeth N. Accetta of Las Vegas; and one sister, Ann Accetta of Hoboken.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Thomas 'Chuck' Atchinson
Thomas "Chuck" Atchinson, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 11, 1925, in Fort Cobb, Okla. A resident for 40 years, he was a bartender for several casinos and a World War II and Korean War Air Force and Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mazie; two sons, Thomas D. Atchinson of Utah and Eddie Kelly of Pahrump; three daughters, Shirley R. Atchinson and Linda Atchinson, both of Utah, and Linda Bradshaw of Wyoming; three sisters, Wilma Barnes and Flo Ella Atchinson, both of Oklahoma, and Joyce Blackman of California; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Emma Bertolaccini
Emma Bertolaccini, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 8, 1913, in Italy. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Riccardo Bertolaccini and Luciano Bertolaccini, both of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Leo Chapian
Leo Chapian, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 25 years, he was born July 20, 1920, in Boston.
He is survived by one niece, Diana Bechakian of Woburn, Mass.
Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
Janice E. Church
Janice E. Church, 63, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 1, 1937, in Bangor, Maine. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired cosmetic saleswoman.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Jean Garcia, and her companion, Manuel Moreno, both of North Las Vegas; two brothers, William Weston and Calvin Weston, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; five sisters, Theresa Phillips of Lompoc, Calif., Judy Ambrose of Plymouth, Maine, and Geradine Toole, Elizabeth MacDonald and Maejean Farrar, all of Bangor.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89104.
Jean Eckley
Jean Eckley, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 23, 1919, in Detroit. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired registered nurse, a volunteer nurse for area prisons and did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by one daughter, Jean Eckley of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial followed in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Bernice S. Fluter
Bernice S. Fluter, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 13, 1931, in Detroit. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Mielnicki of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Sandra Borchers of Las Vegas; two brothers, Eddie Reinhardt of Monroe, Mich., and Frank Opal of White Cloud, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Dale H. Grade
Dale H. Grade, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Milwaukee. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired airline customer service agent and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marian L.; two sons, David Grade and Michael Grade, and one sister, Joyce Moranski, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Jo Nell Hudson
Jo Nell Hudson, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A secretary for a retail gift shop, she was born Jan. 9, 1944, in Texas.
She is survived by one brother, James King of Waldo, Ark.
Burial will be in Arkansas. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Alma Humble
Alma Humble, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A longtime resident, she was born June 13, 1929.

Gary Laverty, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A longtime resident, he was born June 15, 1960.

Roger James Mathiasen, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was a retired Air Force colonel.

Fred Meadche
Fred Meadche, 95, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 25, 1905, in North Dakota. A resident for eight years, he was an automobile mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one sister, Anna Day of Billings, Mont.; and one nephew, Elmer E. Weil of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday at Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Marcy J. Montesanto
Marcy J. Montesanto, 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born June 27, 1941, in Cleveland. A resident for nine years, she was a retired singer who recorded with Columbia Records and was a member of the new DeCastro Sisters singing group.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond F.; two sons, Rande Montesanto of San Diego and Monte Montesanto of Costa Mesa, Calif.; her mother, Mildred Volk of Las Vegas; one sister, Carol Diane Weinberg of Palm Springs, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Lori Ann Williams
Lori Ann Williams, 42, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 14 years, she was born Sept. 3, 1958.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Williams, her mother, Helen Williams, and one brother, Tom Williams, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, 4400 W. Oakey Blvd. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
