Encore Productions Inc., a Las Vegas corporate production and audio-visual services provider, said it's buying audio-visual assets from Las Vegas-based convention services provider GES Exposition Services.
Terms weren't disclosed.
Encore, the largest audio-visual firm in Nevada, is a big supplier to casino resorts and other businesses and now will provide AV rental services to GES' clients and exhibitors for tradeshows in Las Vegas.
Encore says it typically employs about 400 regular and free-lance employees per week, and up to 1,000 in any given week. It expects revenue to reach $43 million this year and nearly $50 million in 2001.
"The combination of services between our two companies represents the most complete array of services available in this market," Encore President William Dayton said of the GES deal.
