Revenue increases for casino operator

LAKE TAHOE -- Casino operator Harveys Casino Resorts reported a third quarter profit of $8 million on record revenue of $125 million vs. $7.2 million or $88 million in the year-ago quarter.
The company reported cash flow EBITDA -- operating income excluding non-recurring items, plus depreciation and amortization -- of $34 million, up from $25 million in the 1999 quarter.
Harveys has a casino resort at Lake Tahoe in Northern Nevada as well as properties in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Central City, Colo. It's buying casino owner Pinnacle Entertainment.
