France’s Faconnable sold for $170 million

SEATTLE -- Nordstrom Inc. said today it will buy French apparel company Faconnable S.A. in a deal valued at about $170 million.
Faconnable is a designer, wholesaler and retailer of men's and women's apparel and accessories.
Its items currently are sold in the United States exclusively by Nordstrom, which is preparing to enter the Las Vegas market.
