A Las Vegas business that was incorrectly included in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing has been removed from the case.
Alexander's Snowy River Feed & Tack, 3084 N. Nellis Blvd., had been included in a bankruptcy filing of the estate of Kimberly Matteuci Story.
The estate listed a business, Snowy River Feed & Tack, which was acquired by Kevin Alexander in December 1998. The filing incorrectly included the business under Alexander's name, even though he had acquired the store and received a new license.
The bankruptcy was filed in July in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Las Vegas. Judge Linda Riegle signed the order dismissing Alexander and his business from the case last week. Alexander said neither he nor his business are bankrupt.
