Letter: Santa Fe workers go the extra mile
Monday, Sept. 25, 2000 | 9:29 a.m.
I have had the privilege -- over the last nine years -- of working with people who have continually "gone the extra mile" to promote the satisfaction of our patrons.
We have worked together, helping each other when needed, putting in extra time, helping departments that were short on help ... it has been a great team effort by all against many obstacles.
We were family, and to many of our patrons we were part of their family because we cared. We are truly the last of the "local" casinos ... loose slots and caring employees.
I'm glad to say I was a part of it, and I will miss my fellow employees and the patrons who visited us and became a part of the Santa Fe family.
P.S. -- I hope Station Casinos can live up to our standards.
