Mark S. Barrow

Mark S. Barrow, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 1, 1943, in Texas. A resident for seven years, he was an investment entrepreneur, a Vietnam War Navy veteran, a charter member and former board member of the Las Vegas Social Register.

A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Donations suggested to Flight for Life or any of the donors children supported charities.

Linda Yvonne Clark

Linda Yvonne Clark, 62, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Denver. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Audra Lynn Clement of Alta Loma, Calif.; two sons, Bret Taylor Clark of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Sean Patrick Clark of Chino Hills, Calif.; her mother, Helen Hansen and one sister, Ina Read, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jim Read and George Read, both of Maui, Hawaii; and eight grandchildren.

Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Luneata W. Foutz

Luneata W. Foutz, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 1, 1921, in Cowley, Wyo. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Louise Palmer of Utah; four sons, Lewis Foutz of Arizona, Lon Foutz of Montana and Joseph Larry Foutz and Harvey Foutz, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph L. Wardell of Oregon; six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Tuesday in the LDS chapel on West Charleston Boulevard. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Marie A. Gambone

Marie A. Gambone, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 26, 1930, in Norristown, Pa. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony M.; one son, Anthony M. Gambone, III of Katy, Texas; one daughter, Grace Stauffer of Las Vegas; three sisters, Nancy Fioravanti, Lillian Feliciani and Grace Manzo, all of Norristown; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. graveside services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Fredrick S. Horner

Fredrick S. Horner, 85, of Henderson died Sept. 13 in Henderson. He was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Cambridge, Md. A resident for 20 years, he was a superintendent in the wholesale industry.

He is survived by two sisters, Bettie Lowden and Ann Lackey, both of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Summerfield Horner of Las Vegas, Ernest Horner of Wilmington, Del., and Charles Horner of Baltimore.

Robert Eugene Hurst

Robert Eugene Hurst, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 19, 1940, in Ivanhoe, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was an electrician and Vietnam War Army veteran with the 84th Engineer Battalion.

He is survived by one son, Kevin Hurst of Davenport, Iowa; two daughters, Melissa Williams of Vallejo, Calif., and Renee Hurst of Pomona, Calif.; his mother, P. Marie Hurst of Las Vegas; two sisters, Wanda Marlene Ennis of Las Vegas and Anita Fitt of Bremerton, Wash.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

David D. 'Red' Jacobsen

David D. "Red" Jacobsen, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Illinois. A resident for 40 years, he was a jewelry salesman and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Mildred Reece and Debra Lucas, both of Oklahoma City.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Latresh Jolliff

Latresh Jolliff, 58, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1941, in Texas. A resident for 20 years, she was a manager for the Vagabond Inn.

She is survived by three sons, Maurice Jolliff of Perris, Calif., Lonnie Jolliff of Las Vegas and Randy Jolliff of Florida; one daughter, Patrice Jolliff of Kingman, Ariz.; four sisters, Charlesdean McNally of Oak Hills, Calif., Lavada Polley of Pomona, Calif., Linda Grady of Norwalk, Calif., and Denna Garcia of Boise, Idaho; and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Central Christian Church. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

John B. Jones

John B. Jones, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 27, 1924, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired police officer, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the Veterans Association.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline M.; one daughter, Corrine Ann Hurst of Yokohama, Wash.; one brother, Paul Jones of Hesperia, Calif.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Hazel Jane Krull

Hazel Jane Krull, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 4, 1923, in Petersburg, Ind. A resident for 22 years, she was a casino phone operator.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Snyder of Jamestown, Pa.; one sister, Dorothy; two brothers, Noel and Albert; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kevin M. Maloney

Kevin M. Maloney, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 23, 1942, in New York state. A resident for 25 years, he was a bulldozer operator and a Marine Corps veteran.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services are scheduled 1:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Annie Mae Mays

Annie Mae Mays, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1914, in Rankin, Miss. A resident for two years, she was a retired school teacher and a member of the NAACP for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Causey and Shawnta Causey, and three sons, Sullivan Causey, Xabian Causey and Van Causey, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services are scheduled noon Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services.

Ethel Louise Mike

Ethel Louise Mike, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 4, 1929, in New York City. A resident for three years, she was a cosmetologist/beauty shop owner.

She is survived by her husband, John; one daughter, Patricia A. Willis of Las Vegas; one sister, Patricia J. Pogue of South Carolina; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday in Bunker Chapel.

William C. Morris

William C. Morris, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 12, 1926, in Guthrie, Okla. A resident for 20 years, he was the chief of security patrol and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Tiny Bosch of Bloomington, Calif., and Timothy Bosch of Las Vegas; two daughters, Bridget Wilkins and Roxana Bosch, both of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Mary Louise Page

Mary Louise Page, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 13, 1929, in New York state. A resident for 35 years, she was a secretary for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for 25 years.

Douglas Prather

Douglas Prather, 42, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. Born Dec. 6, 1957, in Las Vegas, he was a lifelong resident.

He is survived by his parents, Henry and Bertha Prather, Jr., and one brother, Winston Prather, all of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Thelma Kinchen, Cathy Prather and Willie Prather, all of Las Vegas, and Robin Rogers of Oakland, Calif.

Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Timothy P. Stangl, Sr.

Timothy P. Stangl, Sr., 48, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born March 25, 1952, in Scottsdale, Ill. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired telecommunications surveyor.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, two sons Timothy Stangl, Jr. and Matthew Stangl, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Barbara Edmonds of Pine Top, Ariz.; three brothers, Larry Stangl of Ocean Springs, Miss., Joey Stangl of Big Bear, Calif., and Rudy Stangl of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Barbara Jo Opshal of Maui, Hawaii, and Gretchen Stangl of Olympia, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled 4 p.m. Monday in Nathan Adelson Hospice Chapel, 4141 Swenson Street. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd, is handling arrangements.
