Alaskan team nips Gorman

Host Dimond High School of Anchorage scored with 11 seconds remaining to upend Bishop Gorman 31-28 in an Alaskan downpour Thursday night.
With the Gaels holding a 31-28 lead, Kenard Walker rushed up the middle and into the endzone from 11 yards out. Walker finished with 195 yards and two TDs for the Lynx (7-0).
Bishop Gorman (2-2) took a 31-22 lead into the fourth quarter, with quarterback Dyante Perkins providing the nine-point cushion on a one-yard touchdown plunge. Dimond went on to outscore the Gaels 13-0.
Gorman's Jason Rogers ran for three touchdowns and 96 yards. Perkins finished with a team-high 111 yards on the ground.
