Las Vegas ranked No. 1 for entrepreneurial activity

The Las Vegas metro area ranks No. 1 in the nation for entrepreneurial activity and economic growth in new ratings by Dun & Bradstreet and Entrepreneur Magazine.
Las Vegas is also No. 2 in the category of small business growth, behind Nashville. It ranked No. 7 overall in the rankings among large cities for best cities in the nation for entrepreneurship.
The top large city overall was Fort Worth/Arlington, Texas, followed by West Palm Beach/Boca Raton, Fla.; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, N.C.; Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; and Dallas.
At No. 7, Las Vegas ranked ahead of Orlando, New York, Austin, Washington, D.C., Phoenix, Houston, San Antonio, San Jose, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Nashvile, Orange County and Denver.
