Ex-Rebel Siebrandt stabbed

Former UNLV basketball player Matt Siebrandt suffered a stab wound to his upper leg in an early-morning disturbance on Sept. 2 at Kansas State University, according to police in Manhattan, Kan.
Siebrandt, a 6-foot-8 forward, was treated and released at Mercy Health Center after police were called to the University Commons Apartments at about 4:20 a.m., The Kansas City Star reported. No charges have been filed in the incident, which remains under investigation.
Siebrandt played for UNLV in 1998-99, averaging 4.0 points in only two games. He spent last season at the College of Southern Idaho, then transferred to Kansas State this season.
