Columnist Peter Benton: Invensys ticket plans available
Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000 | 10:23 a.m.
Peter Benton's golf column appears Wednesday.
Advanced admission packages to the PGA Invensys Classic, scheduled Oct. 11-15 at the Desert Inn, Southern Highlands and TPC at Summerlin courses, are available as follows:
Advance tickets are available from K.J. Howe at "In Celebration of Golf" at the Venetian hotel-casino and at the James Cashman III Golf House.
The final round (also at TPC), will feature professionals only, vying for the Invensys Classic at Las Vegas Championship.
This card enables the bearer to receive reduced rates on green fees. For the avid golfer, this could mean a savings of hundreds of dollars.
Cardholders can play the Angel Park courses and the Legacy Golf Club for $50-$55 in the peak season and for $35 during the summer months.
As in previous years, the Las Vegas Card also offers similar savings at OB Sports courses in Mesquite -- The Oasis and Palms layouts.
For more information regarding this offer, call Angel Park (254-4653) or The Legacy (897-2187).
