Reid favors Holocaust tax bill

The Holocaust Era Tax Exclusion Act would establish that any money paid by foreign governments to Holocaust victims or their heirs would not be treated as gross income for federal tax purposes.
The bill specifically mentions money from the Swiss Humanitarian Fund, which was set up by the government of Switzerland after an investigation of funds that disappeared during World War II.
