Philip Marvin Abrams
Philip Marvin Abrams, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1928, in Detroit. A resident for 13 years, he was an electronics technician for a tube manufacturer, an Army veteran and a member of LIUE Local 463.
He is survived by his wife, Aldena; two sons, Jay Abrams and Dore Joseph Abrams, both of New York state; and three grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
John Aleshe
John Aleshe, 41, of Noblesville, Ind., died May 23 in Las Vegas. He was born May 27, 1958, in Las Vegas. A former resident of Las Vegas, he was owner/ operator of Iguest Motor Sports.
He is survived by one brother, Thomas J. Aleshe of Indianapolis.
Graveside services are scheduled 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Julia M. Beach
Julia M. Beach, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Oklahoma. A resident for more than 40 years, she was a retired retail sales clerk.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Baker of Las Vegas and Shirley Holmes of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Kenneth; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.

Melva E. Bricknell
Melva E. Bricknell, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Nebraska. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Henderson Moose Lodge 19024.
She is survived by one daughter, Bronicha Loucks of Las Vegas; one sister, Alta Stewart of Columbia Falls, Mont.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Tom Deming
Tom Deming, 55, of Las Vegas died Sept. 12 in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1944, in Phoenix. A resident for 10 years, he owned U.S. Fiberglass of Nevada.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie; two sons, Patrick Deming of Gilbert, Ariz., and Ronald Deming of Showlow, Ariz.; one daughter, Peggy Deming Berry of Pinetop, Ariz.; his parents, Budd and Ruth Deming of Casa Grande, Ariz.; one sister, JoAnn Deming Hall of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Showlow. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Pauline B. Field, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 26, 1910, in New York City. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired hotel waitress.

Edith Regina Sophia Garrity
Edith Regina Sophia Garrity, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born June 21, 1914, in Duluth, Minn. A resident for 55 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Larry J.; two daughters, Barbara Blackwell and Marion Meyers, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Bertha B. Guilbeault
Bertha B. Guilbeault, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 8, 1916, in Manchester, N.H. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Armand Gilbo of Las Vegas and Norman Guilbeault of Wolfboro, N.H.; one daughter, Irene Burns of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Rene Gagne of Manchester and Leo Gagne of Kettery Point, Maine; one sister, Irene Bourqe of Manchester; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Anna Kathryn Hinkley
Anna Kathryn Hinkley, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 2, 1932, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 21 years, she was a counselor at Nike House and a retired officer for the New York state correctional system.
She is survived three sons, Daniel Hinkley, Barry Hinkley and Jeffrey Hinkley; one daughter, Lorrie Barney; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be noon Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Helen V.B. Horner
Helen V.B. Horner, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday. She was born July 21, 1914, in Nutley, N.J. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired supervisor.
She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Smith Stovall of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services are scheduled 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Robert L. Johnson, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born March 22, 1931, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired telephone supervisor and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susie; three daughters, Nancy Johnson and Cindy Caldwell, both of Omaha, and Susan Guesman of Las Vegas; one son, Robert Johnson Jr. of Omaha; one sister, Dorothy Cleek of Sidney, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 6670 W. Cheyenne Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gaudiosa 'Josie' Manaois, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1913, in the Philippines. A resident for 58 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Venancio; one son, Robert D. Seno of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 1-5:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services are scheduled 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.

Anne Newsbaum, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Binghamton, N.Y. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley McGee of Las Vegas; one sister, Sara Pollack of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Benny Lee Olson, 5 days, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 12 in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his mother, Summer Olson, his father, Anthony Baca, his grandparents, Carl and Tina Olson and Cindy Baca, and his great-grandparents, Benny and Norma Riddle and Eldon and Patricia Harcourt, all of Las Vegas.

Leonard P. Regan, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for nine years, he was a retired custom printer and a World War II veteran of the Army, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi; three sons, Daniel Regan of North Hills, Calif., James Regan of Eugene, Ore., and Thomas Regan of Vancouver, Wash.; one daughter, Geralyn Regan of Vancouver; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Anne Rigby, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday. She was born Nov. 12, 1920, in Panna Maria, Texas. A resident for 54 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; one daughter, Sarah Stoddard of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Samantha Bradley of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; one sister, Muriel Foster of Huntington Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rae Saye, 87, of Las Vegas died recently. She was born Jan. 26, 1913, in Texas. A resident for 30 years, she was a bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Henry.

Bernice Schweitzer, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 15, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 22 years, she was a clerical worker and a volunteer for a local senior center.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Schweitzer of North Las Vegas and Joel Schweitzer of Los Angeles; one daughter, Andrea Bell of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
T. Ronnie Self
T. Ronnie Self, 50, of Pahrump died Sept. 7 in a local hospital. He was born March 1, 1950, in Louisiana. A resident for 24 years, he was a painter in the construction industry and a member of Painters Local 159 of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Gina D. Self-Morici and Erica R. Self-McNair, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Brandon S. Self of Las Vegas and Allen Miller of Pahrump; one sister, Joan Cross of Orville, Calif.; two brothers, John Self of Jonesboro, Ark., and Ruel Self of Pahrump; and five grandchildren.

John Ralph Sisco
John Ralph Sisco, 63, of Las Vegas died Sept. 11. He was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Oregon. A resident for five years, he was a cook and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Destiny; his mother, Eve Hahn of Las Vegas; and five sisters, Joan Pryor and Gari Hahn, both of California and Eve Harvey, Dawn Stewart and Arden Long, all of Las Vegas.

Florence G. Taylor, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Pennsylvania. A resident for two weeks, she was a bookkeeper for a community college.
She is survived by one son, Joseph Taylor of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kim Townsend of Las Vegas and Donna Puentes of Egg Harbor, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; three daughters, Ann Fiddler of Henderson, Cindy Teutsch of Gainesville, Fla., and Nora Vitone of New Orleans; one son, Nick Vitone Jr. of Henderson; one sister, Angie Nakis of Chicago; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
