Delta Air Lines will cut two round-trip flights between Las Vegas and Portland, Ore., next year as part of a strategy to redistribute its Asian routes.
The Atlanta-based company confirmed Thursday that its daily Portland flights would end April 1 when Delta discontinues transpacific flights between Portland and Japan. The company plans to shift its Japan flights to Los Angeles International Airport, where it will operate a daily nonstop flight to Nagoya, and to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, where it will add a daily nonstop to Tokyo.
The Portland market is served nonstop from Las Vegas by Southwest, Alaska and America West airlines as well as Delta.
