Margaret F. Adamo

Margaret F. Adamo, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 25, 1920, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Candy McDonald and Felicia Pella, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

John Joseph Baratta Jr.

John Joseph Baratta Jr., 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for 21 years, he was a painting contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Maurita "Mickey"; three sons, Anthony Baratta and Mario Baratta, both of Las Vegas, and Joseph Baratta of South Carolina; two daughters, Rebecca Baratta of South Carolina and Danielle Baratta of Denver; two brothers, Peter Baratta of New Jersey and Joseph Baratta of California; and two sisters, Millie Bowmar and Betty Bradowski, both of California.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., followed by visitation 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today and private burial. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.

Tom Bowser Jr.

Tom Bowser Jr., 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 24, 1924, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 55 years, he was a retired laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Susie; one daughter, Ollie Mae Gray, and one sister, Orline Williams, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Frank J. Campitelli

Frank J. Campitelli, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 25, 1946, in New York. A resident for 20 years, he was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Madeline Campitelli, and two brothers, Anthony Campitelli and Richard Campitelli, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Kandi Riffle of Phoenix.

Annie Lou Clark

Annie Lou Clark, 70, of Las Vegas died Sept. 7 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Queen City, Texas. A resident for several years, she was a homemaker, a deaconess at New Bethel Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and the Pilgrim Christian Society.

She is survived by one son, Angelo L. Coleman, and one daughter, Vilisia Coleman, both of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Willie Mae Russell of Santa Monica, Calif.; four sisters, Lena Mae Brighton, Johnnie Mae Brown, Betty Dunn and Sadie Ann Mitchell, and seven brothers, Jonas Rambo Jr., Columbus Rambo, Danny Rambo, Bill Rambo, Charles Rambo, Alton Rambo and Albert Mitchell, all of Dallas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-9 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in New Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams Ave. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Veronica Marie Couden

Veronica Marie Couden, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 9, 1931, in New Mexico. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; one daughter, Kathryn April of California; two sons, Gary Warren of California and Jeffery Christiana of Las Vegas; two brothers; four sisters; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Art Coughlin

Art Coughlin, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 30, 1915, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired assistant manager of a taxicab company and a member of the Sports Club.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; two sons, James Coughlin of Buffalo and Bob Coughlin of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Rita Evans of Las Vegas; one brother, Maurice Coughlin, and one sister, Patricia Braum, both of Buffalo; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

James B. Daly

James B. Daly, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 10, 1921, in Pocatello, Idaho. A resident for 20 years, he was retired from the railroad, was a World War II Army veteran and director of the Nevada Seniors Golf Association.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Enwall of Las Vegas; one son, Michael Daly of Fort Collins, Colo.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-4 p.m. Saturday in the clubhouse at 1601 S. Sandhill Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Curtis Martin Eggers

Curtis Martin Eggers, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 16, 1906, in Jefferson City, Mo. A resident for 55 years, he was a retired meteorologist, a lifetime member of Scottish Rite 32, a member of Silver Cord Lodge 51, Zelzah Shrine Temple and Eastern Star Daylite Chapter 30.

He is survived by one son, Gerald Eggers of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be private.

Lester Free

Lester Free, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Hudspeth, Ark. A resident for 25 years, he was a computer analyst, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant and a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia.

Graveside services will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Edward Gikas

Edward Gikas, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 6, 1916, in Pawtucket, R.I. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired hotel cook and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Angie; two sons, Peter Gikas of Las Vegas and David Herman of Hawthorne, Calif.; two daughters, Lois Yeaman of Northridge, Calif., and Deanna Rosenberg of Southfield, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lou Goldman

Lou Goldman, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 27, 1911, in Minneapolis. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired casino card room manager.

He is survived by one nephew, Sheldon Marco of Las Vegas.

James E. Howes, 61, of Pahrump died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1938, in Parkersburg, W.Va. A resident for one year, he retired as a distribution manager for Ben Franklin Stores after 39 years.

He is survived by his wife, Libby; one son, David Howes of Fort Smith, Ark.; one daughter, Cassie Davis of Garden Grove, Calif.; one brother, Bill Howes, and one sister, MaryJo Ball, both of Akron, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

Della L. Jimenez, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1906, in Kingman, Ariz. A resident for 83 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio; one daughter, Theresa Hanrahan, and one son, Gabriel Jimenez, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 6 p.m. rosary Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Graveside services will be 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Lucylle F. Konda

Lucylle F. Konda, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 12, 1915, in Montana. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherrie Byrns and Dorothy Chapman, both of Las Vegas, and Sheila O'Neil of Butte; one sister, Virginia DuPont of Butte; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Arthur Phillip Maestas

Arthur Phillip Maestas, 64, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born April 26, 1936, in Las Vegas, N.M. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired hotel maintenance engineer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; one daughter, Dorothy Duran of Henderson; two sisters, Tina Larson of Las Vegas, N.M., and Mary Rita Phillips of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Alfonso Maestas of Colorado; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Donald A. McKenzie

Donald A. McKenzie, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born June 16, 1939, in Seattle. A resident for nine years, he was a taxicab driver.

He is survived by his mother, Martha McKenzie, and one brother, William McKenzie, both of Las Vegas.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements. Burial will be private.

Leita H. Paul

Leita H. Paul, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 18, 1936, in New York state. A resident for four years, she was an owner of an office supply business.

She is survived by her husband, Seymour; one son, Alan Paul of Los Angeles; one daughter, Janice Paul of Las Vegas; one brother, Jules Stelbaum of New York state; and three grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in San Diego. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Wilbur A. Pelzer

Wilbur A. Pelzer, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 5, 1916, in Charleston, S.C. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired letter carrier and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle A.; one sister, Leola Pelzer of the Bronx, N.Y.; one brother, the Rev. John Pelzer of Hempstead, N.Y.; and one grandchild.

Frank Anthony Topol

Frank Anthony Topol, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 15, 1920, in Yugoslavia. A resident for 30 years, he was a hydraulic engineer, a retired Hilton security officer and a former soccer coach.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, Frank Topol of Las Vegas; four daughters, Mira Marra, Zora Gay and Cheryl Lynn Smith, all of California, and Linda Sables of Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy E. Westgarth

Dorothy E. Westgarth, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 13, 1921, in Detroit. A resident for eight years, she was a retired executive secretary for an automotive firm.

She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Westgarth, one son, Jeffrey Westgarth, and one sister, Geri Mezger of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today and one hour prior to 1:30 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
