Three-time winner Jim Furyk has committed to attempt to defend his title at the 2000 Invensys Classic PGA event that will be played Oct. 11-15. He is the only multiple winner of the tournament, having won in 1995, 1998 and 1999. The $4.25 million Invensys Classic, formerly the Las Vegas Invitational, will be played at the TPC Summerlin, the Desert Inn Golf Club and Southern Highlands Golf Club. Tickets may be purchased by calling 242-3000.
