An East Coast visitor will return home $1.3 million richer after hitting a Wheel of Fortune jackpot at the Monte Carlo.
The winner, who asked to remain anonymous, put $36 into the progressive slot machine and had been playing 10 minutes when he won Wednesday, hotel officials said.
Wheel of Fortune slot machines are maintained by International Game Technology, which operates Megabucks machines throughout Nevada. After the winning jackpot, the grand prize was reset to $1 million, hotel officials said.
