Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000 | 4:20 a.m.
Tatro was listed in stable condition at the hospital. He was picked up by a Carson City Fire Department ambulance crew near the Nevada Capitol and taken to the hospital shortly before noon.
Tatro, a division fiscal manager at the state Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety, is challenging incumbent Carson Mayor Ray Masayko.
