StumbleRebirth of drag racing concern for police

Two teen-agers face charges resulting from an early Sunday morning race on South Rock Boulevard.
Shawn Staggs, 18, of Sun Valley and a 17-year-old Sparks youth were arrested. In addition to facing traffic charges, their vehicles were towed.
Daniel Ortega, 21, of Reno was arrested for speeding in excess of 100 mph in the same area.
Reno police are continuing to monitor several areas where drag races are known to occur.
