Gertrude L. 'Gertie' Beeler
Gertrude L. "Gertie" Beeler, 94, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 10, 1906, in Neodesha, Kan. A resident for 60 years, she was a retired cook.
She is survived by four daughters, Anna Mae Hatfield Ritter of Ardmore, Okla., Dorothy Lee Erwin of Anaheim, Calif., Lorain Rachel Axup of Sun City, Wash., and Flossie Louise "Kim" Beeler of Spokane, Wash.; two sons, Walter Benjamin Beeler of Greenfield, Mo., and James Everett Beeler of Greenfield, Mo.; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christian Center Church, 571 Adams Blvd. Burial will be in Boulder City Cemetery.
Beulah 'Bea' Brumwell
Beulah "Bea" Brumwell, 87, of Boulder City died Monday in a Boulder City hospital. She was born April 24, 1913, in Webb City, Mo. A resident for 60 years, she was a homemaker.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 12:30 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memory Gardens.
The family requests donations to the donor's favorite animal charity.
Eugene Foger, Jr.
Eugene Foger, Jr., 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1940, in Houston. A resident for 42 years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by one sister, Estella Akison, and two brothers, O. Charles Foger and Wilford J. Foger, all of Las Vegas.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. handled arrangements.
Richard Perry Genet
Richard Perry Genet, 68, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. He was born April 1, 1932, in Michigan. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a parts clerk for the Nevada Test Site.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Paul Genet and Mark Genet, both of Pahrump; one daughter, Susan Kirkman and one sister, Dorthy Russell, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in Pahrump Family Chapel Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Pahrump Family Chapel. Burial will follow in Bunkers Memorial Gardens.
Jim Gleason
Jim Gleason, 59, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born July 12, 1941, in Waltham, Mass. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired airlines cargo operations manager and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea; two sons, Russell Gleason of Henderson and Frank Gleason of Las Vegas; one daughter, Jamie Cutinella of East Williston, N.Y.; four brothers, David Gleason, Michael Gleason, Mark Gleason and Justin Gleason, all of Belmont, Miss.; two sisters, Ann Ricci of Watertown, Miss., and Susan Roland of Belmont; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 9:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

June Benson Hinkson
June Benson Hinkson, 78, of Las Vegas died Sept. 5 in a local hospital. She was born April 4, 1922, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 12 years, she was a federal government administrator.
She is survived by one son, James Peel of Denver; three daughters, Suzanne Galt of Las Vegas and Kathleen Galt and Patricia Peel, both of Denver; two brothers, John Benson of Peteluma, Calif., and Robert Benson of Ft. Lyons, Colo.; and three grandchildren.

Harald L. Horstmann
Harald L. Horstmann, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 3, 1927, in Germany. A resident for 25 years, he was a restaurant owner.
He is survived by his lifelong companion, Liselotte; two sons, Harold Horstmann and Peter Horstmann, both of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Illania Edwards of Torrance, Calif.; two brothers, Peter Horstmann and Jurgen Horstmann, both of Germany; and four grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Bunkers Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Robert E. King
Robert E. King, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1927, in Chicago. A resident of six years, he was a retired machinist and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; two sons, Eugene King of Las Vegas and Ronald King of Morrison, Colo.; one daughter, Shirley Hildebrand of Henderson; one sister, Pat Smith of Crystal Lake, Ill; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Delores Larsen
Delores Larsen, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 3, 1932, in Minnesota. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, William and James Larsen; two daughters, Sherri Brown and Vicki Melvin; one brother, Walter Bloomgren; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Chapel, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling arrangements.

Lena Lopez, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 23, 1925, in California. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Marcos; five sons, Alvin Galtman Jr. of Las Vegas and Gilbert Galtman, Robert Galtman, Jimmy Galtman and Marin Galtman, all of California; five daughters, Lena Marquinalez, Mary Nauarrete, Mary Lou Castaneda, Ortie Cota and Belen Garcia, all of California; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in San Gabriel, Calif. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Max Mackelprang, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 19, 1909, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired automotive mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Varene; three daughters, Wilma Jean Briggs, Sharon Rae Cross and Connie Witham, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar City Cemetery.

Joann Mauro-McEachern, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 23, 1951, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 34 years, she was a retired dealer.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff Hall of Henderson and Jason Hall of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Judith Snyder, Roslyn Jacobs and Debbie Mauro, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service is scheduled 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Rose T. Moscato
Rose T. Moscato, 95, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 17, 1905, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident of six years, she was a retired seamstress, a member of Sons of Columbus, Sons of Italy and the Women,s Auxiliary of the American Legion in Flower City, N.Y.
She is survived by two daughters, Meril Ann Guthrie and Joy Edgar; one sister, Josephine LaBue, one brother, Victor Tomaselli; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.

Frannie Vermeersch, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born April 11, 1926, in Peoria, Ill. She was a resident for 22 years.
She is survived by her husband, Rene; one daughter, Lorrine Kessinger of San Jose, Calif.; three sons, Christopher Brandon of San Diego, Jack Brandon of Las Vegas and Stephen Brandon of Eliot, Maine; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mark Allen Wagner
Mark Allen Wagner, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 1, 1948, in Torrance, Calif. A resident for 20 years, he was an employee of Frehner Construction Co.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Wagner, one son, Richard Lee Wagner Jr., his parents, Richard L. and Elva Wagner, and his grandmother, Hazel Shockley, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Rickey Witt
Rickey Witt, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Birmingham, Ala. A resident for 32 years, he was a pipe fitter and a member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 525.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; one daughter, Autumn Witt of Las Vegas; three sons, Christopher Witt and Michael Witt, both of Las Vegas, and Jacob Witt; his mother, Emealine Witt, and one brother, Robert Witt, both of Las Vegas.
Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Cemetery, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. is handling arrangements.

Janice Marie Yuhas, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 12, 1935, in Montrose, Calif. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired bank teller.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; two sons, Steven Yuhas and James Yuhas, both of Las Vegas, one daughter, Diane Vice of Salt Lake City; one sister, Phyllis Icenbice of Palmdale, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
