Woman found stabbed to death

Henderson Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 50-year-old woman found outside an apartment complex Sunday night.

Karen A. Alderti of Henderson was found dead at 12650 S. Maryland Parkway by officers called to the apartment over a reported argument in the parking lot, Capt. Richard Perkins said.

Detectives are investigating the slaying, but at this point they have no motive and have not identified any suspects, police said.

Alderti's slaying is the seventh homicide in Henderson this year. There were no homicides in Henderson in 1999.
