The UNLV golf team received one first-place vote and was ranked sixth overall among Division I men's golf programs in the preseason Golf World Collegiate Coaches' Poll announced Wednesday. The Rebels received 361 points in the poll of 19 coaches, ranking them behind preseason favorite Clemson, No. 2 Georgia Tech, No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Arizona State and defending national champion Oklahoma State at No. 5.
