Joe L. Austin
Joe L. Austin, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 71 years, he was a retired truck driver for a gasoline hauling company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Joe E. Austin of Las Vegas and John Austin of Alexandria, Minn.; one daughter, Audrey Austin, and one brother, Harry H. Austin Jr., both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Opal L. Bishop
Opal L. Bishop, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 6, 1918, in Denver. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Gary Bishop of Las Vegas; one daughter, Phyllis McQueen of Whidbey Island, Wash.; one sister, Yvonne Higgins of Commerce City, Colo.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Colorado. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Maurine Elizabeth Judd Bostick
Maurine Elizabeth Judd Bostick, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 21, 1905, in Fredonia, Ariz. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon; three sons, Darwin Bleak of Bayard, N.M., Kenneth Bostick of Los Alamos, N.M., and Harry Bostick of North Las Vegas; one brother, Leroy "Roy" Judd of Kanab, Utah; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in the Alta and Jones LDS chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
William Boyes
William Boyes, 63, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1936, in Everett, Wash. A resident for 35 years, he was a hotel electrician and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one sister, Pamela Fishback of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and his grandmother, Donna Wells of Rosemead, Calif.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Florence Grace Browand
Florence Grace Browand, 84, of Las Vegas died Aug. 26 in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1915, in Steubenville, Ohio. A resident for 20 years, she worked in the electrical department for a civil service employer.
She is survived by two sons, Blair Browand of Las Vegas and Gordon Browand of Tucson; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be in Arizona. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Arlette Clifton
Arlette Clifton, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 25, 1927, in South Dakota. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; one daughter, Jackie Alexander; one brother, David Getty; two sisters, Arial Chromechee and Genny Marshal; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Ray Cline
Ray Cline, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 40 years, he was a business representative for the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Union Local 720, an employee for 10 years at Cashman Cadillac, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a volunteer at Desert Springs Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Dee; one daughter, Delise Rae Cline-Pennel of Sacramento; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Betty L. Corso
Betty L. Corso, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 27, 1923, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Henry; two daughters, Jane Reidhead and Jean Cazimero, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Jack Cole of Columbus; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11:30 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Genevia Cotten
Genevia Cotten, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 11, 1919, in Greer County, Okla. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired beauty shop owner.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens.
Edward C. Dahl
Edward C. Dahl, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Burma. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired gaming systems analyst.
He is survived by two sons, Douglas E. Dahl of New York state and Brandon V. Dahl of California; and one sister, Georgia D. Schmutz of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Judy D. Davis
Judy D. Davis, 37, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born July 6, 1963, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a cashier.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; her parents, Louise and Johnny L. Davis, and two sisters, Doris D. Feaster and Carol Diane Davis, all of Las Vegas; her grandfather, Frank Kelley of Opelousas, La.; and her great-grandmother, Beauty D. Harris of Lake Providence, La.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Grace Immanuel Baptist Church, 805 W. Bartlett Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mary L. Forget, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 17, 1910, in Tower Hill, Pa. A resident for nine years, she was a retail sales clerk for 50 years.
She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Bush of Las Vegas and Harry N. Bush of Los Angeles; one brother, John Vitchock, and one sister, Ann Gurschock, both of Baltimore; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Gary D. Housley
Gary D. Housley, 60, of Henderson died Tuesday in Boise, Idaho. He was born May 9, 1940, in Ardmore, Okla. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired civil engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Anita; one son, Richard Housley of Boise; one daughter, Sara Schauer of Las Vegas; his mother, Mary Myers of Carlsbad, N.M.; one stepbrother, George Myers Jr. of Dallas; three stepsisters, Joan Norton of Eureka Springs, Ark., Nancy Hamilton of Huntsville, Ala., and Judy Leyba of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Ziad Madanat
Ziad Madanat, 52, of Las Vegas died Aug. 27 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1947, in Amman, Jordan. A resident for 15 years, he was a schoolteacher.
He is survived by one son, Tarik Madanat, one daughter, Nada Madanat, and two sisters, Zein Ghazel and Jackie Martinez, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Salman Madanat of Fullerton, Calif., and Ghalib Madant of Oceanside, Calif.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church, Hacienda Avenue and Annie Oakley Drive. Burial will be in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Faith J. McKay
Faith J. McKay, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Flint, Mich. A resident for eight years, she was a retired jewelry saleswoman.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons, Paul Gammons of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Scott Gammons of Inman, S.C.; one daughter, Linda Adair of Phoenix; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Lester Morlan, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for six years, he was a geologist in the mining industry for 55 years, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Elks and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived his wife, Flora; one son, Patrick Morlan of Idaho; one daughter, Roxana Fields of Oregon; one brother, Billy Morlan of Sun City, Calif.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Hugh F. Murphy
Hugh F. Murphy, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1926, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He was a retired research technologist for Moore Business Forms for 32 years, then self-employed at Clearwave Electronics Inc. and was an Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Irene Albone of Las Vegas; one daughter, Diane M. Wells of Houston; two sons, David J. Murphy of York, Pa., and Doug Murphy of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Cathy Baird and Mary Callen, both of Niagara Falls, and Patricia Francis of Batavia, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Debbie Musso, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a Los Angeles hospital. She was born April 25, 1954, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, she was a real estate broker, owner of Venture Realty and a member of Las Vegas Board of Realtors.
She is survived by her husband, Philip; two daughters, Marisa Musso and Jennifer Musso, and one son, Philip Musso, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Betty Wilmont of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and one brother, James Spagnoli of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 4 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

David Goodman Ozeriansky
David Goodman Ozeriansky, 73, of Henderson died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1927, in Mexico. A resident for six months, he was a civil engineer for the government.
He is survived by his wife, Julia of Mexico; one son, Rabbi Felipe Goodman of Las Vegas; and one brother, Grisha Goodman of Mexico.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Temple Beth Sholom, 9700 W. Hillpointe Road. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Kenneth F. Quesinberry
Kenneth F. Quesinberry, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1948, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was a retired Air Force chief master sergeant and Vietnam War and Gulf War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara M.; two daughters, Latricia Quesinberry and Katina Quesinberry, both of Las Vegas; one son, Leon Lowe Quesinberry of Mesquite; his mother, Ruby Quesinberry, and one sister, Paula Quesinberry, both of Buffalo; one brother, Kermit Quesinberry of Valdosta, Ga.; and one grandchild.
Services were scheduled 8 a.m. today in Nellis Air Force Base Chapel, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Thomas R. Thomie
Thomas R. Thomie, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Kansas. A resident for 33 years, he was a technical supervisor at the Nevada Test Site.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; one son, Kenneth Thomie; one daughter, Janel Kieth; three stepsons, John Roks, Michael Roks and Brett Roks; his mother, Lucille Thomie; one sister, Barbara Berg; and 10 grandchildren.
A rosary will be 3 p.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Mass will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
John Burt Tirey
John Burt Tirey, 83, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born July 17, 1917, in New Castle, Texas. A resident for four years, he was a retired owner of a company that built logging roads.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; two sons, Burt Tirey of California and John D. Tirey of Henderson; and one brother, William Tirey of California.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Scott Hale Vose
Scott Hale Vose, 32, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 14, 1968, in Mountpelier, Idaho. A resident for seven years, he was a cook and an artist.
He is survived by his wife, Richelle L.; his parents, Stephen and Nancy Hays of Las Vegas; two sisters, Camille Hays of Salmon, Idaho, and Tiffany McPherson of Reno; two brothers, John Vose of Alexandria, Va., and Eric Hays of Salt Lake City; and his grandfather, Arnold Oehrlein of Mountpelier.
A wake will be 6 p.m. Friday in St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Floyd G. Yost
Floyd G. Yost, 69, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Granby, Mo. A resident for 7 1/2 years, he was a retired engineering technician for the New Mexico highway department and was a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Toni; one daughter, Sandy Sandoval of Fort Sumner, N.M.; two sons, Leroy Sandoval of Fort Sumner and Michael Slade of Las Vegas; two brothers, Maurice Yost of Tucumcari, N.M., and Rafael Dale of Missouri; one sister, Fern Walker of Phoenix; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services and burial will be in New Mexico. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
