Man claims he was defrauded at Mandalay Bay sports book

A Las Vegas man sued Mandalay Bay hotel-casino and one of its customers, Bill Dolin, alleging he was tricked by Dolin into investing $60,000 in allegedly fictitious bets.
In a Clark County District Court lawsuit, Albert Ciaglia alleged he relied on Dolin's alleged fraudulent claims that he had special ties with Mandalay Bay through its casino book manager, Gene Kivi, to set up a 50/50 partnership with Dolin to bet horses at Mandalay Bay's Race and Sports Book and invest in a Carribean wagering account.
Ciaglia, who alleged Dolin never invested the funds or contributed to the partnership, said Kivi allegedly confirmed Dolin's claims and failed to disclose that Dolin was "untrustworthy and banned from betting in at least one jurisdiction."
Mandalay Bay officials could not be reached for comment on the allegations.
