Firm developing building

Harrah's Entertainment Inc. of Las Vegas has signed a deal with Koll Corporate Development to develop a 150,000-square-foot office building in suburban Cincinnati.
The building will be developed by Koll on a 10-acre parcel at Turfway Park, a horse-racing complex in Kentucky partially owned by Harrah's. Turfway is already home of Turfway Ridge Office Park, with two 108,000-square-foot buildings.
Koll hopes to begin construction by year's end. The building will be "build-to-suit," meaning Koll will construct the building to a tenant's specifications.
A Harrah's spokesman said Harrah's doesn't intend to own, manage or occupy the office building once the project is complete.
"It's really a case of monetizing the property," Gary Thompson said. "It's not something we're going to build a casino on. We won't own the office building, but we've hired someone to develop it."
