Mr. and Mrs. Tony Curbelo of Las Vegas have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amy Francisca Curbelo, to Ryan Scott Carreker.

The wedding will be Oct. 22.

The bride-to-be, a 1991 Bonanza High School graduate and a graduate of the Academy of Hair Design, is currently employed as an aesthetician at Angel's Touch.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Ken and Charlene Carreker of Clive, Iowa. He graduated in 1989 from Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas, and in 1996 from the University of Iowa, received his master's degree in marketing at UNLV in 1999 and is currently employed as an account executive at Get Fresh Corp.
