3rd Race -- Ta Ta Be True - Raced even in tightener in last, in the quinella 2 of 3 prior starts over the course with a victory, Solis now, had race, beware. Smooth Player - Solid gate-to-wire victory off the shelf over this course in last, runner up in Del Mar Oaks over this course last year, could repeat. Value Play -- Lazy Slusan
4th Race -- Pro Bono - Wide late runner up in last, drops a level here, draws good post, top jock Espinoza returns. L. A. Fitz - Closed much ground while 5th in last, drops back to competitive level, Eddie D. stays for trainer Jory. Value Play -- I Gotcha Covered
5th Race -- Covincing - First time starter by Avenue of Flags, solid worktab with most recent drill a bullet move on 8/29, Pincay on Warren trainee. Comedy Class - Another first time starter by Avenue of Flags, solid works and lasix here, Flores scales Cerin trainee. Value Play -- Royal Alliance
6th Race -- Tradesman - Rail rally 3rd over the course off two-month layoff in last, maintenance work since, Pincay returns on Spawr trainee. Worthy Deed - Beat top pick while runner up in first route effort over the course in last, hustling Puglisi returns, a diploma factor throughtout. Value Play -- Irish Opinion
7th Race -- Coy Spirit - Part of Garica-trained coupled entry with Wingless Flight, solid victory in last, broke maiden three races back, fits this with Solis again. Go Go - Close runner up off three-month layoff in last, steady drills since, Eddie D. back, had race should be set now. Value Play -- Jeweled Pirate
8th Race -- Jimmy Z - Fast closing runner up off two-month layoff in last, trio of nice works since, Solis returns on McAnally trainee, had race, beware. Long Point - Just missed when 2nd by a head in last, in the quinella 6 of 14 races at this distance with a pair of victories, Gomez now on Mitchell trainee. Value Play -- It's a Reality
9th Race -- Cliquot - Set pace in Grade II 7-panel stakes and finished 2nd in last, runner up in last three outings, has a chance for the brass ring here. National Saint - Third to eventual Pacific Classic winner Skimming in San Diego 'Cap in last, won only other two Del Mar outings, solid contender here. Value Play -- Lord Sterling
10th Race -- Los Cabos - Claimed by trainer Mitchell off dull effort in last, runner up in prior two starts, look for quick turnaround here. Mr. Fortune - solid 3rd in last, won by a neck at this level before that, top jock Espinoza stays here, a factor throughout. Value Play -- I Wonder Why
