Stupak sells low-rent motel

Gaming entrepreneur Bob Stupak has sold the low-rent Thunderbird motel on Las Vegas Boulevard, an official said today.
Michael Robert Flores, who was fired as the Thunderbird's general manager on Oct. 18, said in a Nov. 24 lawsuit that Stupak sold the property in October for $5 million. Flores said the buyer was Doug DaSilva.
DaSilva, an apartment owner, today confirmed the motel was sold about six months ago but declined to say if he was the buyer.
Stupak could not be reached for comment. Thunderbird staff say Stupak no longer has an office at the motel.
