WASHINGTON -- PepsiCo Inc.'s Tropicana Products unit, which says its orange juice is "an excellent source of Vitamin C," can now also claim the juice helps reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke because it contains potassium and is low in salt, U.S. regulators said.
Tropicana Products was granted U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for the marketing claim for foods high in potassium, like orange juice.
