Senate, House candidates to debate on radio
Candidates for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Democrat Richard Bryan and for the Southern Nevada seat in the House of Representative will debate live on the radio this week.
Senate candidates Ed Bernstein, a Democrat, and Republican John Ensign are scheduled to debate from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. today on KXNT 840-AM.
Democrat Rep. Shelley Berkley will face off against her challenger, Republican Jon Porter at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Visiting seniors
Democratic Senate candidate Ed Bernstein will be speaking with senior citizens on Friday.
Bernstein is scheduled to address seniors at the Grand Court II apartment complex, 4330 S. Eastern Ave. beginning at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
