Mirage properties on Microsoft’s casino game

Microsoft Corp. today released "Microsoft Casino," a non-gambling PC game product that recreates the experience of visiting the Bellagio, the Mirage and Treasure Island.
The game "reproduces each casino in stunning detail," using graphics and video, gaming tables, cards, dice and music from each resort, Microsoft said. Players have a chance to win "virtual comps" that include a night's stay in a high-roller's suite or tickets to a stage show.
Mirage Resorts owner MGM MIRAGE will receive "fairly modest" royalties from sales of the game, though company spokesman Alan Feldman said the most important part of the deal is providing exposure for the three properties.
If successful, Feldman said future versions of the game may be expanded to include other properties in the MGM MIRAGE portfolio, such as the MGM Grand or New York-New York.
