LV firm in deal with Disney

A Las Vegas company has acquired the assets of the telephone company that serves the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
Smart City Networks, which provides telecommunications services in convention centers, hotels, stadiums and theme parks across the country, acquired Vista-United Telecommunications, a partnership between the Disney Corp. and Sprint.
Terms were not disclosed, but Smart City said the deal would be worth $175 million in new revenue over the next five years.
Smart City operates the phone system for the Las Vegas Convention Center.
