Journal Broadcast Group signs deal with FeedRoom

The company that owns KTNV Channel 13, Las Vegas' ABC television network affiliate, has signed a content agreement with an Internet news network.

The FeedRoom, New York, has signed a deal with the Milwaukee-based Journal Broadcast Group Inc., that will broadcast video content from four of the company's stations to high-speed Internet users.

Terms of the deal were not announced. A start-up date, expected to be later this year, has not been determined.

Channel 13 is one of four television stations that will provide content to the FeedRoom, which will be available at www.feedroom.com 24 hours. Other Journal stations participating in the deal are based in Milwaukee; Palm Springs, Calif.; and Lansing, Mich.

The FeedRoom will offer interactive newscasts, links to the top stories of the day, notification of breaking news events, chats about the news of the day and video e-mail of the day's best video.
