Crazy Horse Too sues casino over topless show

The operator of the Crazy Horse Too strip club in Las Vegas sued to stop the MGM Grand hotel-casino from using the Crazy Horse name to advertise a new topless show called "Crazy Horse Revue."
In a Clark County District Court lawsuit, Crazy Horse Too's management company, the Power Co., said it took legal action because it feared it may lose many of its customers to MGM's new show and that the hotel-casino was unfairly benefiting at the expense of the Crazy Horse name, which the nightclub says it had spent "hundreds of thousands of dollars" to build.
The Crazy Horse Too and Crazy Horse revue shows feature topless dancers as one of their main draws for customers, the suit said.
The suit said MGM Grand won't sustain significant losses if Crazy Horse wins the legal dispute because the Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino's show is still in the planning stages.
"At this stage, we don't know who is operating the 'Crazy Horse Revue' show," said Dean Patti, Crazy Horse's attorney. "We understand the show may be opening in late spring 2001."
MGM officials declined comment on the lawsuit.
