Letter: Label is unfair to Democrats

I am a Democrat and proud of it. I am tired of hearing this talk that the Democrats are the "big spenders." Seems I remember defense contractors with fat pockets, while military pay increases went down and no domestic programs put in place either by the GOP!

Being fiscally irresponsible does not pay down the national debt, and how dare a party that receives money from the big prescription drug companies tell us how they are going to help us!

If you want the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to set their standards for Yucca Mountain you are looking at a recipe for disaster. Oh, yes, if you want high prices, high interest rates and the return of high unemployment, then vote GOP.
