Monica Seles will join Lindsay Davenport as part of the U.S. Fed Cup team that will play next month in at Mandalay Bay, captain Billie Jean King announced Thursday.
Whether Venus and Serena Williams form the other half of the team is still uncertain because the sisters are going to fashion school in Florida, King said.
"They absolutely want to play," King said. "The problem is they have to work out the school part."
King said the rest of the team would be announced by Nov. 10, or earlier if the Williams sisters agree to play.
The United States is the defending Fed Cup champion and will play Belgium in semifinal matches Nov. 21-22. The other semifinal matches pits the Czech Republic against Spain.
The winners of the two semifinals meet in the cup final Nov. 24-25. The United States beat Russia in last year's Fed Cup.
