Young woman killed in crash on Mount Rose Highway

The young woman drove off the right side of the highway, then overcorrected and turned into the path of an oncoming bread truck, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. about four miles up the Mount Rose Highway from southwest Reno.
The driver of the truck suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to Washoe Medical Center where he was expected to be treated and released.
No names have been released.
The highway patrol was investigating the accident but weather was not believed to have been a factor.
