GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Chaparral def. Vo-Tech, 15-9, 15-10, 15-9: Mollie Hammons had 26 assists, Katherine Soder added seven kills and four aces and Diana Nihipali helped out with 15 kills and three aces for the Cowboys. Antrece Williams chipped in six kills for the Road Runners.

Valley def. Desert Pines, 15-9, 15-4, 15-5: The Vikings got 10 kills and six digs from Jen Merbach and six digs and four kills from Tracy Tomlinson in the victory.

Cheyenne def. Mojave, 15-11, 15-4, 15-6: Tammy Cribbs dished out 23 assists and Mercedes Felix added eight kills for the Shields.

Eldorado def. Rancho, 8-15, 15-2, 14-16, 16-14, 15-10: Leslie Horlacher racked up 23 assists, Jenna Guerra had 10 kills and Sara Black added six kills and five aces for the Sundevils, who rallied from 12-5 down in the fourth game. Kamilah Bywaters had 10 kills and three aces for the Rams.
