Maryann Carnahan
Maryann Carnahan, 61, of Las Vegas died Oct. 19 in Las Vegas. She was born May 22, 1939, in Illinois. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Senior Friends.
She is survived by her husband, William; three sons, Craig Carnahan of Denver, Barry Carnahan of the Netherlands and Andrew Carnahan of Las Vegas; one sister, Jayne Hoalt of Illinois; and two grandchildren.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.
Vicki Cohen
Vicki Cohen, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 3, 1956, in Denver. A resident for 22 years, she was a beauty supply distributor.
She is survived by one son, Robert Drozd, and one daughter, Briana Cohen, both of Las Vegas; her father, Jack Kessler of Charleston, Ill.; and four brothers, Gary Winkelplek of Denver and Don Kessler, Jack Kessler Jr. and Hershel Kessler, all of Charleston, Ill.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
George Delgadillo
George Delgadillo, 31, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1969, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for four years, he was a tile setter and a member of the Brick Layers Union.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; his mother, Maria Delgadillo, and two brothers, Juan J. Delgadillo and Jaime Delgadillo, all of El Paso; and one sister, Maria C. Delgadillo of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled 3-5 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services and burial will be in El Paso.
Paul S. Jones
Paul S. Jones, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born July 11, 1916, in Missouri. A resident for 45 years, he was a recreational vehicle salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Edith; one son, Paul S. Jones Jr.; and one daughter, Pamela S. Morris.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Julius Phillip Kirschner
Julius Phillip Kirschner, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 26, 1915, in Belleville, Ill. A resident for one year, he was an art supplier, a retired artist and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Karen Bollinger of Henderson; one brother, John Kirschner of Boulder City; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial was scheduled at 8:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Rick James LaCosse Sr.
Rick James LaCosse Sr., 38, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1962, in North Adams, Mass. A resident for 13 years, he owned and operated a Snap On Tools franchise and was a member of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa L.; two sons, Ricky J. LaCosse Jr. of Las Vegas and Brian LaCosse of Colorado Spring, Colo.; two daughters, Lisa LaCosse of Colorado Springs and Liberty LaCosse of Canon City, Colo.; one stepson, David Valdez of Las Vegas; his parents, Cyndy and Joe LaCosse, one brother, Joe LaCosse Jr, and two sisters, Dot Freel and Serena Sepanek, all of Las Vegas.
Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Victor Hugh Leonard
Victor Hugh Leonard, 74, of Las Vegas died recently in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1925, in Michigan. A resident for seven years, he was a retired machinery mover, a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a Chicago park district boxing coach and a member of Machinery Movers Local 136.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane; two daughters, Mary Jane Beran and Kathryn Otter; two sons, Glenn Leonard and Brian Leonard; and eight grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Coglianese Funeral Home, Burr Ridge, Ill., is handling arrangements.

William Jefferson Light III
William Jefferson Light III, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Texas. A resident for 19 years, he was a food service manager and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Jeffrie Light of Las Vegas; two sons, Randy Light and Bill Light, both of Phoenix; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Thomas J. McFadden
Thomas J. McFadden, 60, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 9, 1940, in Philadelphia. A resident for five years, he was a retired computer service engineer and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; two daughters, Kathleen Zanetel of LaMesa, Calif., and Theresa Oliva of Chula Vista, Calif.; two sons, Thomas McFadden Jr. of San Diego and John McFadden of Chula Vista; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gilbert K. McKeon
Gilbert K. McKeon, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 31, 1918, in Milford, Utah. A resident for 12 years, he was an educator, an Army captain and World War II veteran, developer of the "No Ten Theory," a member of the Professional Bookmans Association and the Lions Club.
He is survived by one son, Ken McKeon; one daughter, Susan Ford; one brother, Richard McKeon; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Gladys Diana Morales
Gladys Diana Morales, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 10, 1950, in New York state. A resident for 24 years, she was a billing supervisor for Desert Springs Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Ulises; one son, Ricardo Morales, one daughter, Elizabeth C. Ybarra; and her mother, Angelina Morena, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be private.
Annabelle Deeter Petty
Annabelle Deeter Petty, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday. She was born July 15, 1916, in Lamar, Colo. A resident for five years, she was an administrator with the Phoenix school district.
She is survived by her husband, George K.; two sons, Michael Petty of Las Vegas and George Petty Jr, of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two sisters, Mildred Young of Spokane, Wash., and Ethyl Stout of Wiley, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 7 p.m. today in Trinity United Methodist Church, 6151 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. is handling arrangements.
Gerald Ralya
Gerald Ralya, 77, of Las Vegas died Oct. 5 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 18, 1922, in Beloit, Wis. A resident for 25 years, he was a Las Vegas Sun reporter and editor and a member of American Association of Retired Persons.
He is survived by one daughter, Rosana Ralya of San Francisco; one son, Jerry Ralya of New York City; one sister, Lynette Brown of Bloomfield, Mich.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to the children's hospital of the donor's choice.
Charles E. Shannon
Charles E. Shannon, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 26, 1934, in Michigan. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator, a member of the Teamsters Union for 35 years and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Paris Shannon of Great Falls, Mont.; two stepdaughters, Kathryn Simons of Golden Valley, Ariz., and Carol Dripps of Parowan, Utah; two stepsons, Henry Leitner of Waterloo, Neb., and Donald Leitner of Great Falls, Mont.; one brother, David Shannon; five sisters, Ruth Berward, Dorothy Simmons, Mary Lou Lutz, Leolta Patton and Leona Claucherty; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
Kenneth Michael Smith
Kenneth Michael Smith, 3, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 24, 1997, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his mother, Deanna Evans, his father, Brian Smith, two sisters, Amanda Evans and Samantha Evans, and two brothers, Alex Smith and Brian Smith, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Doris and Cliff Middlemiss of Canon City, Colo., and James and Josie Smith of Las Vegas; and his great-grandmother, Roberta Middlemiss of Canon City.

Leona Catherine Vespia
Leona Catherine Vespia, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 21, 1938, in New Westminster, British Columbia. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A., four daughters, Celestina Vespia, Claudina Vespia, Christina Vespia-Zaidman and Cynthia Vespia, and one sister, Alvida Lane, all of Las Vegas; one stepbrother, Michael Hillman and her stepmother, Eugenia Hillman, both of Vancover, British, Columbia; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until a 6 p.m. Rosary today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Rueben P. Wright
Rueben P. Wright, 38, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 17, 1962, in Las Vegas. A resident for 38 years, he was an elder and member of the deacons board and fellowship dinner committee of the Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara L.; three children, De'Angelo Floyd, Bray 'Anna Wright and Brandon Wright, his parents, Johnie B. and Eddie J. Wright Jr., and one sister, Hermina Washington, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Jeffrey L. Wright of Hampton, Va.; and his grandfather, Eddie J. Wright Sr. of North Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 8-11 a.m. Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Saturday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
