Letter: Keep fluoride in our water to fight cavities
Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000 | 9:34 a.m.
I know that every major health organization and every major health agency says it is the least expensive way to provide the benefits of fluoride. This is especially important to those who do not have insurance or cannot afford to go to the dentist regularly.
The fluoride issue will be voted on this November but we have to vote no on Question 1 to keep fluoride. There are people complaining that the government should not put fluoride in the water without asking us. Well, now they are asking us. I urge everyone to vote no on Question 1 so we can keep fluoride in our water.
