Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000 | 10:52 a.m.
Sealy Inc. doing business as Sealy Mattress Mfg. Co., a mattress maker, sued the Regent Las Vegas, formerly known as the Resort At Summerlin, alleging the hotel-casino failed to pay $42,350 for mattresses.
The hotel-casino, which has struggled to meet financial targets since its 1999 opening, has recently missed debt and gaming equipment lease payments and is working to restructure its debt.
Regent officials could not be reached for comment on the Sealy lawsuit.
