Washoe District Judge Connie Steinheimer handed down the sentence Friday to Michael League, 54, of Sun Valley, who could be eligible for parole in 10 years.
League pleaded no contest to a single count of lewdness with a minor, resolving what lawyers said were at least 20 sex-related charges against him.
Under the plea bargain leading to his plea, prosecutors agreed to drop the other charges.
If released from prison, he will be under lifetime supervision by the Division of Parole and Probation, Steinheimer ordered.
