Cheney visit solidifies
Monday, Oct. 23, 2000 | 4:53 a.m.
A Cheney spokeswoman said a rally will start at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mercury Air Center at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
Cheney will address the crowd after arriving by plane at about 6:30 p.m.
The rally is open to the public, but free tickets for the event must be picked up at the Washoe County Republican headquarters.
Cheney, who campaigned in Las Vegas earlier this month, will make campaign stops in Oregon and Washington before his arrival here.
No other Nevada visits are planned by George W. Bush or Al Gore.
Nevada, with just four electoral votes, remains in the tossup column as the Nov. 7 election approaches.
