Burned man in serious condition

A 61-year-old was in serious condition this morning after being found badly burned in downtown alley Sunday night.
Las Vegas firefighters were called to 300 block of South 3rd Street about 7:30 p.m. for the report of a building on fire. Firefighters found what appeared to be a trash fire between two buildings, fire officials said.
They found Frederick Larrabee on the ground and badly burned.
Metro Police are investigating the incident, but at this time believe Larrabee, thought to be homeless, started the fire to keep warm and accidentally caught himself on fire, said Lt. Wayne Petersen of Metro's homicide unit.
