Vernon Wayne Archer
Vernon Wayne Archer, 80, of Pahrump died Thursday in Pahrump. He was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Meadville, Mo. A resident for 13 years, he was a government employee, a World War II and Korean War Army veteran, a member of Moose Lodge 808 in Pahrump and Order of the Scottish Rite and Aladdin Temple, both in Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Gale; one son, John Archer of Medinah, Ill.; one daughter, Carol Archer-Maxwell of Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd.
Gregory Mark Baugh
Gregory Mark Baugh, 40, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born Sept. 18, 1960. A resident for three years, he was a truck driver and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; his parents, Jack and Jill; five brothers; and three sisters.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Assembly of God Church, Pahrump. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Jackie Branscum
Jackie Branscum, 58, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Hodge, La. A resident for 46 years, she was a lobby supervisor for a supermarket.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald O.; two sons, Jeffery Branscum of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Daniel Branscum of Henderson; one daughter, Terri Helm, her father, Jack Newcomb, and one brother, Jerry Newcomb, all of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Kristine Johnstone Fangman
Kristine Johnstone Fangman, 56, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 26, 1944, in Laurel, Md. A resident for three years, she was a retired school district health aide.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Michael Fangman of Carlsbad, Calif.; one daughter, Kimberly Rockey of State College, Pa.; and one grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jenny E. Garcia
Jenny E. Garcia, 23, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 1, 1976, in El Salvador. A resident for seven years, she was an employee at the Golden Nugget.
She is survived by her husband, Edmundo; one daughter, Ana L. Garcia, her parents, Aristides and Ana M. Menendez, one brother, Alex A. Menendez, and one sister, Griselda Del C. Menendez, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Geroniuo A. and Emma Carballo de Jaco of El Salvador.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Peter Eric Goddard
Peter Eric Goddard, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 29, 1943, in Massachusetts. A resident for 10 years, he was a truck driver and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his caretaker, William Davis; one brother, Kenneth E. Goddard; and two sisters, Janet LeBoeuf and Brenda Eddy.
Private services will be in Massachusetts. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Eric Jasiukaitis
Eric Jasiukaitis, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1926, in Lithuania. A resident for 30 years, he was a structural engineer, vice president of Martin & Peltyn Inc., and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; one daughter, Ruta Jasiukaitis of Las Vegas; and one son, Paul Jasiukaitis of San Francisco.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Dorothy June Knieling
Dorothy June Knieling, 75, of Henderson died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for 43 years, she was born Sept. 15, 1925, in Champaign, Ill.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold; two daughters, Connie Laudeman of Las Vegas and Judy Kemberling of Henderson; one son, James Knieling of Las Vegas; three brothers, Gene Houston, Tom Houston and Bob Houston, all of Illinois; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Pinky Martinez
Pinky Martinez, 58, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born Aug. 2, 1942, in Fallbrook, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a self-employed mobile home repairman.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Jesse Martinez and Robert Martinez, both of Pahrump; one daughter, Eileen Martinez of Hemet, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Monday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd. Burial will be at Chief Tecopa Cemetery.
Suzy Moore
Suzy Moore, 59, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 26, 1941, in Bogota, Texas. A resident for 18 years, she was a hospital administrator.
She is survived by two daughters, Stacy Prunchak and Lisa Bartlett, both of Henderson; two sons, Jack Mayo of Rangley, Colo., and Matthew Moore of Henderson; three sisters, Naomi McCahon of Albuquerque, N.M., Jeanne Carraher of Henderson and Belinda Bedell of Portland, Ore.; four brothers, Michael Alexander of Alta Loma, Calif., and Donald York, Johnny York and Robert McClanahan, all of Barstow, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

Oscar E. Oropesa
Oscar E. Oropesa, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born March 11, 1932, in Havana. A resident for 33 years, he was a 21 dealer.
He is survived by one sister, Oria Dalmau of Miami; and two brothers, Ovidio Oropesa and Lazaro Oropesa, both of Las Vegas.

Charlotte A. Ratzlaff
Charlotte A. Ratzlaff, 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Winfield, Kan. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn R.; two sons, Eric Lynn Ratzlaff of Nampa, Idaho, and Bruce Paul Ratzlaff of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Bill Stueven, Bob Stueven and Todd Stueven, all of Augusta, Kan.; three sisters, Carmen Laflin and Jane Henman, both of Las Vegas, and Deborah McHone of Augusta; and two grandchildren.

A.T. 'Cisco' Sanders
A.T. "Cisco" Sanders, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Oklahoma. A resident for many years, he was a retired utility porter.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; five daughters, Erma Wines, Mary Gunn, Fay Wilkinson, Barbara Sanders and Doris Williams, and two sons, A.T. Sanders Jr. and Larry Sanders, all of Las Vegas; 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
J.T. Whitlock
J.T. Whitlock, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Commanche County, Texas. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II and Korean War veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Marie Whitlock of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Onita Wycoff of Katy, Texas, and Onez Coppedge of Hobbs, N.M.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Fred Wosik
Fred Wosik, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A truck driver and a World War II veteran, he was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; four daughters, Mary Lou Fioravanti, Joan Panzarella, Betty Wosik and Susie Wosik; two sons, Fred Wosik and Brad Wosik; three sisters, Sylvia, Loretta and Dora; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Cumberland Chapels, Norridge, Ill., is handling arrangements.
